2. The Strategy Made Simple Method This article is the 6th in a series exploring the Strategy Made Simple Method through the lens of a lemonade stand. If you haven’t already, check out previous articles here. Today, we will develop the lemonade stand’s Dashboard. Dashboard Your Dashboard measures your progress towards achieving your Strategy. It is a tool for you to manage, measure, and mature. You capture status towards each Priority and associated goal. To do this, you need qualitative or quantitative metrics with defined thresholds. A simple red, yellow, green construct works. The more specific, actionable, and time-bound your goals, the easier it is to write your metrics. Pulling It All Together Our lemonade stand’s Dashboard? 3. Where the Rubber Meets the Road(map) My goal is to make strategy simple. To round out the Lemonade Stand series, we’ll talk about Implementation next. It’s where the rubber meets the road(map). 4. Application So, what does it look like for your business?
