I've seen that you can have the best strategy in the world, but if your culture doesn’t exist to support it, then it’s likely to fail.

Culture is how a firm actually operates.

It's how people treat each other.

It's beliefs and behaviors.

It's whether your stated values show up in daily operations.

Here are 3 ways leaders can position for success —

  • Align Strategically: Develop your ​NorthStar​ that everyone understands and can communicate - to include a shared Vision, Mission, Values, & Priorities. Drive where your firm is going and why.
  • Clarify Expectations: Establish an operating model with clearly defined roles & responsibilities, designate decision making authority, hold people accountable, and foster collaboration.
  • Communicate Consistently: Embrace a consistent meeting cadence (with agendas!) to identify, discuss, and proactively address issues and opportunities.
